Fiberglass (FRP) doors and windows are characterized by their lightweight yet high-strength nature; the profiles have a density of approximately 1.7–2.0 g/cm³ and a tensile strength of 350–450 MPa, with wind pressure resistance reaching 5.3 kPa. They offer outstanding energy-saving and thermal insulation performance, featuring a thermal conductivity as low as 0.3–0.4 W/(m·K) and a heat transfer coefficient (K-value) of 1.3–2.2 W/(m²·K).
These doors and windows provide excellent sealing performance, achieving Grade 5 airtightness and Grade 3 watertightness according to national standards. They offer effective sound insulation, with weighted airborne sound insulation values reaching 32–39 dB, and demonstrate strong corrosion resistance against acids, alkalis, salts, seawater, and humid environments.
Additionally, fiberglass doors and windows exhibit excellent dimensional stability, with a linear expansion coefficient as low as 7.3 × 10⁻⁶/°C and a heat deflection temperature exceeding 200°C. As thermosetting plastic products, they possess superior weatherability and performance across a wide temperature range, alongside other attributes such as excellent electrical insulation, good vibration damping, and a wide range of color options.
