What the buyer is trying to solve

Why the page exists.
The buyers who arrive at this page are warehouse and 3PL operations managers, export logistics coordinators, and pallet-pool operators. Their existing wooden pallets fail one of four ways: they get rejected by export customers who require ISPM-15 fumigation records, they harbor pests that contaminate food and pharma loads, they absorb moisture and develop mold, or they crack at the block and create a forklift-damaged load. They want a pallet that solves at least one of those problems without raising the per-trip cost - ideally, solves all four.
PRODUCT FAMILY · 4 VARIANTS
Four FRP pallet variants
The base geometry is shared; the resin schedule, edge detail, and color vary by use case.
Standard FRP pallet
Slatted deck with integral FRP edge profile. General warehouse and 3PL use. Pest-free, mold-free, demountable for return transport. Light gray or black standard.
01
Heavy-duty FRP pallet (with metal edge)
Slatted deck with hot-dip galvanized steel or stainless edge cap. Designed for high-cycle racking use and rough-load handling. Edge cap protects the corner block against forklift tine damage.
02
Hygienic FRP pallet
Solid-top deck (or sealed slatted deck) with hygienic-grade resin schedule. Designed for food, dairy, and pharmaceutical warehouses. Chemical-wash compatible; no exposed fiber for mold to attach.
03
Shipping-container FRP pallet
Sized to ISO-container internal dimensions (typically {{1,140}} × {{1,140}} mm or {{1,100}} × {{1,100}} mm) for one-piece floor loading. Demountable for empty return. Salt-spray-tolerant for marine use.

When not to specify FRP pallet
Cases where wood or commodity plastic remains correct.
Three cases where we redirect
- One-way export to a market that will reject composite pallets. Some destination markets and pallet-pool operators explicitly accept only wooden or specific plastic SKUs. Verify acceptance at the destination before switching.
- Heavy industrial load above {{2,000}} kg static. Standard-variant pallets are sized for {{1,000–1,500}} kg dynamic load and {{4,000–6,000}} kg static; very heavy-duty industrial use may exceed the variant envelope. Project-specific.
- Customer mandates a specific plastic resin (e.g., HDPE only). Some pallet-pool operators specify the resin family. FRP is a thermoset composite, not a thermoplastic; verify compatibility.

Customization & OEM

Warehouse and 3PL customers typically need a project-specific SKU: customer brand molded in, custom RAL color, OEM kitting per site. Send the drawing or the previous pallet spec; first article {{6–8}} weeks; repeat {{3–4}} weeks.
Frequently asked questions
What is the typical lead time for a {{10,000}} pallet order?
From PO to first delivery, typically {{8–12}} weeks for standard {{1200}} × {{800}} mm Variant A. Custom color or variant adds {{2–4}} weeks. We hold forecast slots for major pallet-pool contracts.
Are FRP pallets exempt from ISPM-15?
Yes. ISPM-15 (the international standard for wood-packaging-material treatment) applies to wood; composite pallets are not subject to the regulation. Confirm acceptance with the destination country's customs broker before shipping.
What is the per-trip life?
Depends on use case: standard 3PL warehouse {{50–100}}+ trips; food-grade hygienic {{30–50}} trips (frequent wash); container shipping {{20–40}} trips (rough handling). Project-specific lifecycle validation on first article.
Can the pallet be repaired if damaged?
Yes. Damaged slat or block can be replaced using our repair kit. The repair is structural for typical 3PL loads; very heavy-impact damage may require factory evaluation.
How is the pallet cleaned?
Pressure-wash at up to 80 bar with standard detergent. No re-grit, no repaint. The hygienic variant can be steam-cleaned or chemically sanitized; chemical compatibility validated per project.
Can the pallet be supplied with RFID for asset tracking?
Yes. Integrated RFID tag molded into the pallet block; specify on RFQ. Compatible with standard warehouse RFID infrastructure.
Is the pallet recyclable?
FRP can be shredded and used as filler in non-structural concrete, or chemically recycled via glycolysis. We offer a take-back program in pilot regions; ask your account engineer.
What documentation comes with each shipment?
Per shipment: dimensional inspection, resin lot certificate, ASTM E84 (if specified), load rating reference, repair manual excerpt.
